Claire earns her Business Sustainability Management certification at the University of Cambridge (CISL): academic anchoring of an on-the-ground practice.

Claire is trained in ISO 14001 environmental management, the international standard that becomes the backbone of the ETYC method.

Claire spent eight years as Chief Stewardess on superyachts before building the methodology ETYC runs on. ISO 14001 trained and certified in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge (CISL, 2022). She took ETYC from Startup Weekend MonacoTech finalist in 2019 to the platform launch in 2026, and led the team that won the 2023 Acrew Best Sustainable Superyacht Business award — voted by captains and crew.
CTO & Business Partner
Matthieu joined ETYC as CTO to build the digital platform that turns the methodology into a product. He leads the technology choices, the engineering roadmap and the data foundations that make every action traceable, measurable and audit-ready. His role: ship a platform that stays useful to crews and credible to auditors.
Chief Engineer Advisor
Andrew started as an Engineering Cadet on cruise ships before moving to yachts in 2014, climbing to Chief Engineer on 65-115m vessels. Over 16 years of technical experience on board. He ran one of the first HVO trials on an 80m+ superyacht and spoke on the alternative fuels panel at Yacht Club de Monaco. ETYC certified since June 2023.
Trainer
With almost a decade working across the maritime industry Alice brings a broad, cross-sector view of the shifts shaping the industry today. She holds an Environmental Officer Certificate of Competency, alongside a Specialist Diploma in Environmental Science. She was ETYC certified back in 2021, and has now come full circle, joining the team as a trainer. For Alice, this is about more than protocol; it's combining her love for science with a chance to shape how an entire generation of crew thinks about their impact, on board and off. Alice is also the founder of Pure Botany, integrating living plant systems onboard superyachts and cruise ships.
